Tamara Jare’s “Forest Before The Snow” Nominated for Saatchi Art’s Best of 2026 Collection

Ljubljana, Slovenia — 2026 Tamara Jare’s painting Forest Before The Snow (Oil on canvas, 23.6 × 27.5 in) has been nominated for Saatchi Art’s Best of 2026 Collection. This is an annual selection highlighting outstanding contemporary artworks from around the world. The collection is curated by Rebecca Wilson, Chief Curator at Saatchi Art, and features 113 artworks. These are chosen from thousands of submissions.

Forest Before The Snow forms part of Jare’s ongoing exploration of solitude, memory, and the shifting role of the woman creator within art history. Working in a post‑impressionist and neo‑fauvist visual language, Jare’s practice centers on expressive color, figurative presence, and self‑portraiture as a site of both vulnerability and authorship.

This nomination adds to Jare’s growing international visibility. It follows recognition from prominent collectors, advisors, and institutions who continue to engage with her work.
