Made by Human, Exhibition

October 21, 2024 Posted by admin Uncategorized

Tamara Jare artwork is included in XX Contemporary Day- Made by Human exhibition at Rossocinabro Gallery Rome. The art exhibition is promoted by AMACI – Association of Contemporary Italian Art Museums.

AMACI is the Association of 24 Italian Contemporary Art Museums. On Saturday,
October 12th 2024, the Day of Contemporary Art will take place, the annual event
organized by AMACI to bring art to the general public.
In its twentieth edition, the Day of Contemporary Art will once again open the doors
of 24 AMACI museums, along with approximately a thousand institutions throughout
Italy and abroad, to showcase artists and new ideas through exhibitions, workshops,
events, and conferences. It is a diverse program that, year after year, has provided
the general public with the opportunity to experience the complex and vibrant world
of contemporary art, making the event organized by AMACI the annual kickoff to the
art season in Italy.

Cristina Madini, Curator at Rossocinabro gallery says:

”Rossocinabro is pleased to announce, on the occasion of the XX AMACI Contemporary Art Day, the opening of Made by Human, an exhibition that highlights human artistic creation in contrast to works produced by artificial intelligence (AI).

The exhibition features a variety of works by artists from around the world who use both traditional and contemporary techniques to create art, emphasizing the uniqueness and value of human ingenuity and creativity in the digital and artificial age.

The goal is to explore the unique creativity and cleverness of humans, inviting the public to distinguish between human and algorithmic creativity.

Each work on display is a personal journey, a tangible emotion that transcends mere visual results. It is the imprint of lived experiences, interpersonal relationships, inspirations drawn from history and culture, a meditated thought, a feeling translated into form. The artist, through their sensitivity and skill, leads us into a world made of nuances, imperfections that become distinctive marks, and stories that intertwine with the material, giving them an authenticity and depth that is difficult to replicate artificially.

Human creativity is often guided by intuition, by a sudden idea that emerges from the depths of the unconscious. Intuition and the unexpected are not generated by AI, which instead follows predefined rules and algorithms, limiting the possibility of surprises and unexpected deviations. Human art is intrinsically imperfect. The imperfections, errors, and traces of the creative process are an integral part of the work itself and give it an aura of authenticity.

Moreover, each work of human art is embedded in a historical, cultural, and social context that influences its meaning. AI-generated art, on the other hand, may lack this grounding.

Made by a Human is a celebration of human creativity and a reminder not to forget the unique power of art to move us, inspire us, and make us reflect. The exhibition is an invitation to all art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in a world of authentic and meaningful works, created with passion and dedication by talented artists. ”
